I ordered a new Am Dlx HSS from American Musical Supply which came last week but was damaged. I sent it back, and the very next day after receiving confirmation from UPS they shipped a replacement which came the other day. Much better this time. Unlike the first one, the Fender box was not opened and the guitar was not in tune which is exactly what I was hoping for. This one is a keeper for sure. Her name is Maisie and here is her first official portrait, titled Cars and Guitars:

Looking good, I nearly went for that colour myself!

I think the Deluxes give a huge range of options in terms of sound - probably even more in your case with that humbucker!!

Sweet guitar but that little gem behind it is much sweeter-is it a 365 GTC/4 with after market wire wheels? It's hard to tell with just a little of the beauty showing,it would be nice to see a full pic-hint hint.

'69 365 GT, #12751. Borrani's are original, nothing aftermarket on her. I'm taking her on a three day trip in a couple of weeks and will be prepping this weekend. I'll try to get a better pic with the guitar in it to keep on thread.
I've been spending a bit of time just flicking the 5 way and S1 switches, and there really is a wide range of sounds available. The #4 position with the S1 active is interesting the way it rolls off the highs. But my favorite so far is #3 without the S1. Real nice quack!

My eyes keep bouncing back and forth between that beautiful guitar and the far too cool and pretty Ferrari. I think I'd move an amp out to the garage and never have a reason to leave. :D

Nice pair there.
