Can´t seem to find any updated info on fenders webpage, not does my serial show up in the serial search webpage...

Just want to make sure it actually is a genuine USA fender I have received, with all the counterfeits that´s around these days

Says US10207336 on the back of the headstock. "US10" is written with a less bold font than the rest.

It is a USA Standard sunburst lefty. Looks like the real deal, perfect finish, sound and everything. Came in the fender moulded case with manuals and everything

Hi yes it is Real .. im a Lefty and they have that odd looking "US10" i have quite a few Lefty Strats and one has a serial number that starts with just 10XXXXX with a limited edition neck plate ,, hope this info helps you

Fender is way behind in updating that serial number page; I think it stops at 2005.

Yes, Fender started out using the "10" at the start of 2010; I guess they felt the "10" didn't stand out enough from the rest of the serial number so they changed it to "US10" about May of last year. Around that time they also began using "MX10" for the MIM guitars (since MIM guitars change roughly mid-year they went from "MZ9" to the new "MX10" prefix).

My Am Dlx also has US10 written in the same fashion; I learned some that were made earlier in the year were printed this way, but most of them don't have "US" in front of the serial number. Or it's the other way around, they started printing them without "US" first, then added the letters later. The mysteries that are Fender
