rowbo777 has modded his American Standard Strat by adding an American Deluxe compound radiused neck on her. Compound radius necks are available only on the American Deluxes, while other models came with the choice of 7,25'', 9,5'' and 12'' radius.



An American Standard with a compound radius neck could be considered much more as a Factory Special Run item than a regular product. Fender produced FSR versions of their popular guitars and basses thoughout the years by adding a host of features which can be found only on high-end models.
