recently replaced the stock bridge with a wilkinson.

when i strum or pick strings other than the low E string, the low E string sounds and i have to palm it to quieten it.

i used 4 springs on the new bridge, it is floating 1/8" off body.

wondering how to get the low E string to stay quiet unless i actually strum/pick it?

Yep, you will have to mute it by palming it or use your chording hand/finger to eliminate the vibration, and/or turn your amp down or move away from it to lessen the affect. The fact that the string is vibrating when plucking other strings means that you are getting good string vibration transfer through the guitar, and a little added sound from the amp will make it vibrate even more, that's normal. I often have to mute the other strings when I am tuning and/or playing with the amp on.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.

"The sustain, listen to it."

"I don't hear anything."

"Well you would though, if it were playing."
