Just finished customizing my Strat to replicate David Gilmour's Stratocaster. It sounds awesome. No buzz or feedback at all. So pleased with my finished product. I grew up in Sydney (now live in the U.S.) and have been playing since I was a kid. I have rebuilt and rewired many guitars in the past....would love to do it full time!

Congrats and welcome to the Forum. My Mac has a Gilmour screen saver and he is one of my all time favorites. Love the concert DVD's. Guys on the Forum will tell you - you ain't got no guitar till you post a picture. I'm sure we would all love to see it.
I should add that I have not yet figured out how to post a pic, but apparently you can set up an account simply at one of the pic hosting web sites, and you use their picture address to link to the forum. If I had done what you did, I'd figure out a way to show it off.

Welcome to the forum, but like mentioned above - no pic=no guitar!!

It seems like the pic needs to be on a website in order to post...I only have it on FB and my PC....I will post if I can. If you know another way, let me know.

Photobucket seems to be theasiest for everyone to be able to see the pics posted.
Please do not give a link, rather copy...cut and paste right onto this thread.
If you search very recent threads, there are a couple of well detailed how to's.

I figured out how to post pic's last night. Its easy once you figure it out.

Did you rout it for a Kahler trem, then plug the cavity for a fulcrum trem, just like David did?

Lets see her, I just did a Red Strat with the EMG's
