So I've been working on my Strat mod (rather slowly since I've been out with the band), and I thought about the Clapton Strat electronics. Seems fantastic, but I've got a question that's bothering my sleep:
Will the Gilmour "seagull" effect work with the Clapton style electronics? (TBX & mid-boost)?
I'm wondering because people have gotten mixed results with active electronics.
Has anyone tried it?

I've previously scoured the site numerous times. Yeah, it mentions EMG's DG 20, but I just don't now about the Clapton mid-boost. I could just give it another tone pot...
On/Off switches for the booster have also been a hot topic, a push-pull would be great. If all else is ruled out, I'll go with Villex's nifty little jack gadget. I was going for the Clapton one because it's more versatile
