Nah I had the good fortune to get my hands on a 2 year old, gigged EJ a few weeks back. It looked like it had been through the ringer. Forearm wear, lacquer chipped off the fretboard, all that stuff. If I so much as look at my Hotrod in a way it doesn't like, a dent or scratch appears.

I was thinking maybe Fender just has a few clumsy workers and decided that the pile of damaged guitars was getting so big they couldn't ignore it any longer. And that's where the roadworn idea got it's start. Pffffffffttttttttttt!!! lol
