What's up with the neck? Is it really two pieces...a glued on headstock? I would think that a custom guitar is most likely going to be bought by someone that know guitars...woods, pickups, construction, etc., and that neck's a turn-off to anyone who's knowledgable.

With all due respect, you are mistaken, if you look again at the neck, you will notice that there are no string tree's, so that tells me one thing, the two piece as you call it is actually a common practice in neck construction.
Joining two pieces in neck construction allows you to align the grain of the head stock parallel to the strings and thus your head stock can now be angled.
this increases the angle of the strings crossing over the nut. Now the nut becomes a fulcrum.
Otherwise over time with a six in line setup, the head slowly tilts up from tension of the strings pulling on the tuner shafts. Eventually as the head warps or tilts up, string tension on the nut decreases thus you lose sustain from string vibrations moving thru the nut into the neck..etc..etc..

That is a very nice guitar and it would be worthwhile seeking top dollar as it is worth it but because of the present buyers market for guitars, it is not such a good time to sell a custom made guitar.

I would suggest to you a bit of research into custom made one off's. You will see that there is an infinite variation, depending on the craftsman and the order specs.
Any one knowledgable as you state would appreciate this guitar as a fine example.

NOT A REAL STRAT ,, ONLY WORTH THE WEIGHT OF THE WOOD AND WILL NEVER INCREASE IN VALUE LIKE SAY A 30 or 40 or 50 YEAR OLD STRAT .... sell it 200 before your stuck with just a peice of wood ,,, i myself have been down that road before and no matter how much you spend on a build it will never be the real thing ,,,, Looks Like an Ibanez Style Body with a Fender Style Neck Body 100 and Neck 100
