Man - we all want to help you but please stop posting your guitar on every other "help me ID my guitar" thread from the past month with photos of your guitar since you have your own thread going.

We've given you the best we can with this - it appears to be an American Series guitar in surf pearl. It sounds like it was a one-off for the person who donated it to the raffle you won since that finish was normally found on American Texas Special Strat and Texas Special Fat Strat models from the early part of the decade. Those guitars normally have a pearloid pickguard, which is why most of us think it is a "regular" American Series guitar. You also have a nice tweed case instead of the normal pastic molded case that came with American Series guitars.

The only other thing you could do is to follow the other advice of calling or emailing Fender Consumer Relations to verify your serial number.

I am just a little excited about my win and I know that there are people that study fender and know such things in this forum.I had no idea that people read all the diffrent threads I am new to this. I have written a thank you note to the Fender executive and maybe he will write back with the specs of the guitar that I won.I know how lucky I am. I have only played these at the stores. I am sorry about my inexperence on threads

No problem; I would be excited if I was in your shoes. However, there are quite a few of us here that try to respond on guitar dating and history questions, and therefore typically go into most of the threads and chime in if they have anything to add - eventually one of us usually has some info on just about all the various models. Since you had a thread of your own going it would be better to keep all posts with questions and answers about your guitar in one place - it was hard to see which of the various threads you were tracking and figure out where to post a response.

I hope you do get some definite answers; I suspect that the former Fender exec really liked this color but preferred the regular American Series pickups so they just had the factory whip up a one-off guitar for him. He could also easily have requested a tweed case instead of the standard case.

Please let us know what you find out; this one is a bit of a puzzler - as well as being a real looker.

Thank you and I will I will post info in this thread. I will write down which thread it is. Yes it is a looker that is one of the reasons im trying to find out what colour it is. when I was in the stores I always picked up the whites or sunburst. I never even gave these a second look. But now I love this colour more then I would ever have thought. If the Exec ever writes back Ill post what he said. Thanks again for helping me.
