I have a friend who's Strat has fret buzz on one fret only. Each string on this one fret(i think it's the 6th or 7th) is buzzing. He has the neck almost completely flat.(no bow) I realize the fret probably isn't level. Just wondering if giving the neck a little relief and letting it bow a little more might help. Wanted to ask you guys before I go adjusting on someone elses guitar.

You see I don't know if the flatter the neck = maybe less buzz or
More bow = maybe less buzz.

Thanks for your help ya'll.

More bow may lessen the buzz but I must emphasize, this isn't necessarily the correct remedy to the problem.

Thanks Martian. Yeah after looking at it, I can see the frets that are off. It's a Squier neck. The 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th fretwires are raising up from the fret board on the bottom and top of the neck(at both ends of each fret). I told him to take it to a pro. It's buzzing on more than just one fret. Thanks again for your help.
