Yeah if the noise starts before the guitar is plugged into the amp, then the problem has to be the amp, not the guitar. Or the houses electricity supply is causing the noise. I don't see how it could possiibly be the guitar when the guitar is not being used.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll start giving them a try when I get home tonight. Maybe I can post a video as well so you guys can see first hand what's going on.

It's not doing it now. At all. Unbelievable. I suppose it's like when you take your car to the mechanic and the clunking noise magically stops the second the mechanic starts driving it.

I really haven't played it too much since re-soldering it the other night, so maybe that did the trick. When I'm finished working tonight, hopefully I'll get a chance to play it some. And I'll have the camera ready when the noise starts.
