If anybody has any suggestions please advise. I just traded a custom 24 ten top (today) for this mint 2006 closet classic, I'm a strat guy through and through, I have set up floating bridges on more strats than i can remember. This is my first custom shop guitar and i'm baffled. IF YOU PULL SLIGHTLY UP THE GUITAR GOES SHARP AND SLIGHTLY DOWN FLAT. This is not minimal it really goes out of tune. I have tried different angles on the bride-different heights on the 2 knife screws- different angles on the claw- different springs ect.. the nut is a lsr roller with locking tuners. I cant see any contact anywhere on the bridge. This is a different trem, it has the bar that that you push in and has stainless steel saddles. I am sure that the issue is the bridge somewhere, perhaps the contacts at the knife edge. This guitar looks unplayed judging by frets. THOUGHTS Thanks

Sounds like the knife edge on the trem base plate is worn, preventing the trem from returning to zero. I new bridge base plate would fix it May as well replace the posts too!

Thanks steve, I'm thinking that would be a good start for sure. Hopefully i can order that piece, Should i contact fender or go to a authorized repair shop to order? I'll try both!

Replaced the plate and screws and that solved the problem. Now I'm going to throw some dimarzio's in it.
