Thanks for sharing the pics. The tinting on the headstock and back of the neck and the CC body finish all look excellent.

A couple things that I was wondering about were why it looks like there are extra attempts to drill holes and then patch them up in the neck pocket. I also thought that the back of the trem bridge looked kind of far from the body.

I have a G&L Tribute ASAT and its neck pocket had all sorts of extra starts of holes that made no sense why they were there. Kind of figured since it was a Tribute thats what I get. Thought the extra $$ for a USA model would eliminate that kind of stuff.

That's my "fault"...
I set up the tremolo so that it goes one whole step up on the G string.

Great pics of a great guitar. The neck pocket is PERFECT.

Cheers,

That's a beautiful color. It's very close to the color of my Corvette. I think the only viable option here is for you to send that guitar to me so I'll have a matching Vetter and Strat.

I'm just a heck of a guy to make such a selfless offer... :D

Wow, they truly look very much alike.

You've got me thinking of your offer Jeff....
But I think I'll pass... For your sake. :?

They say too much Candy Cola does bad for the retina of your eyes and dries out your salivary glands, so I don't want to be responsible for any blindness or dehydration....
They really do... Google it...

Great pics....that's awesome! I'm going back and forth on whether I should get the American Special or the American Standard but am definitely leaning towards the Am Std. I love the sunburst look. What is the SKB case like (not that that is a selling point in my decision?

Frankly it wasn't as robust as I expected.
Good for safe keeping but I have my doubts if I could trust me beloved guitar to go on a road trip with it.
Seems a little hollow... Well it is, but, you've got the point...

I have already ordered a red tortoise shell pickguard, hoping to make it look like this...

What's your opinion?
