Love the candy cola!Just ordered the same one today except getting the maple fb. Been playing for 30 years and never owned an american made classic like this so I am pretty stoked myself.

ahhhh candy cola, I was just out picking up a marshall 2x12 extension cabinet from australia's equivalent of craigs list (gumtree), took my CC Am Std Strat along



Got the comment: "Man thats the nicest looking Candy Apple Red I've ever seen!". Yeah, its possibly the best red fender have come out with. GL and post some pics when you get yours!

10 days!?!?!?!? Lucky. I've been waiting for my American Standard Strat (Blizzard Pearl w/maple) for 3 months already and I got a call yesterday from the shop where I ordered it. It's going to be at least another month.
I can't remember the last time I got a full night's sleep...

I swear i sleep with my American Standard. Olympic White rosewood fret board. I cant imagine someone owing one of these and not liking it.

Ugh...guess my patience is about to be tested.

I was thinking of a Blizzard Pearl/maple myself. Are there still waits for guitars like people were frustrated over last year? Has the inventory at the factory not kept up with our GAS?

Just got a phone from the local post center.
The package has arrived. I'll pick it up after work....
7:30 hours left....

As many say, If you don't know it, you don't own it... So I took some pics from the belly of the beast.

The body has a stamp with the date "Mar 03 2010"



And the neck has two stamps. One that says "MAR 22 2010"



...and the other "MAR 10 2010"



I guess one is the construction date and the other is the inspection date.
