Hey guys, I don't know about you but for some reason I love so many signature strats. It's not necessarily because of the signature on them but so many of them have better tones than many other strats imo. So if you have any sig strats/like any, talk about them here and tell why you like them. My favorite is the Mayer Strat, the big dippers really are something else !

I dig the Jeff Beck strat something about the tremelo system just seems right. the mayer is pretty badass too, i think fender should sell the big dippers as after market pickups.

Thank You. The Pics Of The Guitars To Buy Here Dont Give You A Large Image. Not Bad. I Think After I Pay Off A New Amp I May Get The Clapton. It's Really Close To The 57 Vhr Ri Which Really Works For Me. Thanx Again.

Same boat here. I didn't care about the signature on my Jeff Beck, I just liked the combination of features.

I wanted to buy the Malmsteen (because of the scalloped fretboard). Checked the Malmsteen with maple and rosewood fretboard. I liked both of them but wasn´t crazy about the scalloping of the fretboard (deep and a bit too uncomfortable for me).
They also had the Play It Loud which has a great scalloped neck (totally different and very comfortable but way out of my price range).
Then they had the Ritchie Blackmore (Mexico) which I tried also and from the first moment I loved the scalloped board and the neck. It was the first Strat I played that had a great, fat, punchy sound. Maybe I was lucky but it really sounded better to me than the Malmsteens.
The Malmsteen Strats had a great setup and are high quality guitars.
The setup on the Blackmore wasn´t as good (nut too high) but I do the setups myself so no big problems.
The price is high for beeing a guitar made in Mexico but the fretboard is amazing and the quality is top notch. American parts (vintage tremolo bridge, pots switch etc.).

Cheers,
Robin

I bought my Clapton, because of the neck and the mid boost, Im not sure if those two options appear on any other Strat

Same here. The Clapton Signature just sounded right and felt right to me.

i would say that i am not a big fan of sig guitars...that said I have a Les Paul ans a SG wich was called a Les Paul when they first came out. I also have a Music Man Axis wich were once Van Halen sig. I also have a steve morse Music Man but that guitar is awsome The dream is to have your name on the headstock.

I like a lot of the signature models too. Especially the Eric Johnson Strats. Where else can you find a rosewood V neck on a stock Fender? The pickups sound really pretty good too.

I prefer the Clapton for the mid-boost and the comfortable soft-V neck.

I like the older Beck for the fat bat neck and the humbucker in the bridge.
