i recently bought a fender strat. and i am not sure what model it is? If you know please tell me. It has a humbucker bridge pickup along with a selector switch for the humbucker and it came standard with it. Has the premium rosewood fret board. And i would like to know what the color is called.

I'm not 100% sure of the name of the guitar, but I think that was called a "Stratocaster Special". These were MIM models from the mid-1990s and were essentially the forerunner of the MIM Deluxe models. Nice guitars.

I would call the color "blonde".

Nice strat. I think John C. is right about the color. It's blonde or maybe honey blonde, I've heard it called transparent blonde too.

any idea on the worth? its in mint condition

I have the exact same guitar! I bought mine from a pawn shop for $280. It was the precursor to the Deluxe Series guitars. Rare it may be, incredibly valuable it is not......only worth what a similar year model mexican standard strat is worth. But don't be broken hearted......If yours is anything like mine, it is a tone monster! And the coil tap switch is a feature the new HSS Strats should all have.

ive always seen strats as more of a blues/soft rock kinda guitar, but with the setup its got and the bridge humbucker it has a really good heavy metal and hard rock tone to it and i LOVE it so far! i got mine at a pawn shop too with an amp for 300 bucks!

Im also looking for help with the colour of my MIA Strat Ive heard surf pearl and surf green The guitar isnt a texas special .I dont know what it is, I won it at a raffle for Multiple Sclorosis in Portland.

That looks to me like Sage Green Metallic from a few years back. I know they did that finish on MIMs. Not sure about USA though...
