Why?

Because the characters are iconic figures of rock and roll popular culture of the 1990's

Although they are not musicians, music fans, MTV fans etc. connect with BB. Most of us have known or know pre-teen/early teen male figures reminisant of the boys.

If I am not mistaken similarly there was a "Waynes World" Squier.

Beavis Stratocaster: Butterscotch blonde with maple neck. 8) perhaps white guard and knobs etc.


Butthead Stratocaster: Metallic Black with rosewood neck. 8) chrome guard. (his chrome braces being an outstanding feature).
