I just put a set of Kinman Blues pickups with a 9 way switch in a partscaster and they blew me away. Highly recommend you check them out, as a pre wired set or just as your new bridge pickup.
I also have a Texas Special Fat Strat and the Fender pickups Pale in comparison, but I do like the SD Pearly Gates it has in the bridge.

Along with all of the other opinions on this thread I'll throw my $.02 in...

First, I'd follow Mr. Martians advice about double checking the wiring/electronics.

Second, assuming everything is kosher on point #1 above, try looking into
DiMarzio Cool Rails or Hot Rails - I think they might be what you're looking for.
