I have American LH Strat 3 tone sunburst with a 50th anniversary neck plate.
I love the sound and feel when compared to my Mex Strat.
I can't find any info on the guitar. I'm interested in knowing the type of PUPS it has (so much better it's not even funny) and what type/size of neck was available for this model. The fretboard is appears to be rosewood. Also, what size allen wrench is needed for my Mex Strat. I'd like to adjust it as close as possible to the American Strat. the tools are not interchangeable.

Every American Series Strat made in 2004 had the "50th Anniversary" neck plate; based on the description (3-color burst, rosewood fingerboard) you've got a nice LH American Series Strat. Specs were typical of that era - 1.6875" nut width/9.5" radius neck and regular "American Series" pickups (I know they were alnico; I don't think I've ever seen the full specs on these). Since it is an LH it has regular tone controls instead of the "Delta Tone" no-load tone control found on RH American Series guitars (evidently Fender's supplier doesn't make that no-load control that spins in the opposite direction to fit on an LH guitar).

I'm not sure if Fender ever did make a lefty version the actual "50th Anniversary American Series Strat;" but those were all 2-color burst and all were maple fingerboard models (these had the special '54-style pickups and came with a special anniversary case).
