I had sold my strat Ultra a while back and finally soothed the Strat gas today with this 2010 American Deluxe!

Thanks guys, I'm just about to peel all the protetive plastic off and plug into some custom plexi. I got Red House blues playing to set the proper mood. :twisted:

and in a few weeks I'm going to plug into this bad boy, clean, crunch, SLO 100'ish, 3 channel foot switchable, independent EQ's, 100 watt 6L6 on a hybrid PCB/Turret board (mad scientist type laugh)

PS: I just build amps for fun as a hobby I'm not in the amp business.

My Strat gas was 2 until I read the specs on the new 2010's then it jumped to 10.5 :lol:

The dang things are on back order all over, my first choice was a transparent wine red or aged cherry burst in Ash but nobody in town had one.

Here's the good news, I stopped at one of the local Fender dealers, they had three 2010's. A butt ugly amber, I told the guy don't even bother taking it off the wall thats the ugliest strat I ever saw. 2nd they had a nearly as ugly Sunset Metallic (sorry antitype). When I rejected that one the guy handed me the Tungsten and said, "I have some room to work on price". I gave it the once over, told him I didn't want a maple neck or this color force me to buy it what's your best price....drum roll...$1,198 well it didn't take long for me to say sold!

Thanks man, I built her in my garage. I think she will pale in comparison to my current project, its looking to top $2k just in parts.
