I’m new to guitar about 3 years. I’m also very old so don‘t always get younger peoples thinking !
I have gone through the Strat range, starting as I did with a Squire, Mexican built & now have my first USA model.
What I don’t understand and it seems to apply to other manufactures is the “ Road Worn Models “
What’s the attraction? Do buyers think it makes them look good or look better players than they are or what.
And if so why don’t they just take a bit of sandpaper to a lower cost second hand purchase?
Love to hear some views on this.

I think, what Fender wants to offer with a "worn" Strat is the vintage feel and sound of a authentic old Strat that you can't achieve with a bit of sanding...

A lot of people think that an old worn guitar looks cool.

Fender wants to sell cool looking guitars.

There's also the placebo effect.

Listen boy, no need to be rude here. Voodoo told you to do a research, so do it, everybody has been talking about worn guitars.

It's like everything else, you like it or you hate it.
Just try one before opening your mouth, you'll see what a fantastic guitar it is.

If you're unable to do a research or understand what the Road Worn models are about, I believe it's your IQ that is at 58, not Voodoo's.
