Hi, i'm a newbie, in everything! :oops:
I've never touched a guitar in my life until last may, when i bought a red Squier, then, last
month a got myself an American Special (SSS), a great guitar, maybe, a bit too much for me :roll:

P.S. My heart broke a few days ago when a saw some small chips on the lower part of the strat, i wanted to cry... with patiences i found the three "very" small chips on the pavement and i glued them back on.

My American Special... (sorry about the low quality, it's my old iPhone 3G)

Just kidding.
When you say you found the chips on the pavement,what happened,did you drop the guitar?
I have a 1977 Les Paul that I painted a chipped place with auto touch up paint....still looks good after 34 years.

I cleaned it the day before and i did not have those chips, so i guessed i'll be lucky enough if they where still on the pavement! And they where! I think my son chipped it in some way...
I let him play the Squier (that he chipped too)... He's working on "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" 8)

Upload your pictures on a host site like Photobucket or Flickr. Copy the link of your picture from that site and past it in between the Img codes (Img button on the message editor panel).

And dont worry about chips, its soul cant escape through it.

Realistically, no guitar shall ever stay in absolute mint condition as unforeseen stuff is bound to happen to it even with the best of care. I know it stings but this is the way you have to look at it.

Welcome to the forum...very nice Strat and you broke it in already. The little chips don`t change the sound and their bound to happen anyway. Just play and enjoy it.
