It is with deep sorrow and regret, that we have to announce that Gary Moore passed away while on holiday in Spain last night.

Our thoughts are with his children, family and friends at this sad time.
Gary Moore, RIP
1952-2011

I was playing "The Loner" last night, and today I´ve saw the sad news. I´ve got all in tingles now. Rest in peace Gary.

This has just ruined my day.

Hugely saddened by this news when i heard it yesterday.

Seems Gary has gone the same way as Hendrix - terrifying how close we all are to mortality.

Had to re-run the video of Gary playing Red House on his red strat at the Fender bash. That's how I'll remember him - dazzling skill and a total comittment to his playing.

My Collaborator and I will be performing Still Got the Blues, and Since I Met You Baby, sometime soon in his memory..

R.I.P. Gary.

Delivered the sad news to my dad this morning, he's a huge fan and he was really shocked.

It really saddens me to know that Gary Moore is no longer with us. I don't think he was rated as highly, when he was alive as he should have been.

Every time I saw him play, it was easy to recognize in his playing that he absolutely loved the instrument and that he was in his element whenever he had a guitar in his hands.

He struck me as a lonely type of guy (hence "The Loner") and although I didn't know him personally, I just feel he deserved more praise and honor than he received.

Of course if we miss the man, just imagine what his family must be going through.

I'm just enveloped in sadness at this time and I can't believe he's gone.

RIP GARY MOORE.

He ballooned up like his Irish fellow Rory Gallagher over the years, so sad. See you in the next life...

Gary Moore was closely associated with the Gibson Les Paul for many long years.
