They do use six number serial codes, I have two. Both bought new from authorized dealers. Twelve years apart. Ones a 2007 Tele, the other is a 1995 Strat.

However your serial number is actually MZ0 (zero, not the letter o).

I recently acquired a used '06 Fender American standard Strat.
I noticed that instead of the 'one piece body'sticker on the extreme right side of the headstock, the sticker says' Original Contour Body.
The Sunburst finish visibly shows a 3 piece body construction.
Which leads me to the question: Are all American Standard Strats supposed to be made of one piece body?
thanks for any professional information you can offer!

The sticker is supposed to say "Original Contour Body"; there never was a "One Piece Body" sticker.

Occasionally you will find a vintage Strat from the 50s with a one piece body (or perhaps an odd mahogany bodied Strat from the 60s) but typically they were 2- or 3-piece bodies from the beginning. American Standards are typically 3-piece bodies; about the only way you can get a 1-piece body from Fender is to specify one on a Custom Shop build.

There are errors on those serial number lists ... even the ones found here on www.fender.com ...

Both my MIM Strats have a six digit serial number
Email your serial number to
Customerrelations@fender.com
They will email you back with all the information they have
