Have you tried the JST SSV humbucker on a Strat? Suhr offers this chrome-covered humbucker on his guitars since many years.

Used by top pros who need to duplicate the great classic sounds of a bygone era, the DSV and SSV humbuckers have a broad sonic aperture with very little compression artifacts that afflict typical high-output pickups.

Go with the DSV for smoother highs or with the SSV for more honk and snarl!

A 2002 Am.Dlx. Fat Strat with a DiMarzio 36th Anniv. Aged Chrome Cover.
