I bought a Retro Parts 5 position switch for my Strat and I cannot figure it out. The switch that is in my strat has 8 prongs in a row. The Retro parts switch has 3 on one side and 3 on the other with one in the middle. How do I wire this switch in my guitar? :(

Welcome,

Sight unseen, what you are describing is the wrong switch for your purposes.
