It depends on what kind of Strat you have.

If it is going to be anywhere on a USA guitar itself it might be on the production stickers in the neck pocket or on the back of the neck heel. It is usually found on the hang tag where the various Fender employees sign off on the guitar.

Some of the MIJ guitars have the model number stamped in the body cavity and on the neck - I've seen photos of the stamps on the MIJ/CIJ reissue guitars.
