Hi. I'll be upgrading my 1993/94 MIJ Fender vintage 62 stratocaster real soon. Before i buy the parts, i have a set of questions:

1.) Are the American vintage saddles sized exactly the same as the ones on a Japanese vintage? Do they have the same material?

2.) Would there be any problems when changing the stock frets to bigger ones? I'm thinking of replacing the worn frets with Jescar nickel fret wires sized at 0.055" x 0.090" (equivalent to Dunlop 6105s). Are they fine on a vintage style guitar?

3.) The stock nut has a damaged slot on the G. Is the Graphtech TUSQ XL PQL 5000-00 fine enough? They come in two types - a curved bottom and a flat bottom. Which type of nut did the Japanese use on these guitars?

Here's their link on the curved bottom: http://www.graphtech.com/product-590-2/

And here's a link on their flat bottom: http://www.graphtech.com/product-592-2/

4.) Are the CTS pots fitted exactly like the stock pots they have in them? 250k i presume

What do you guys think?
