Good choice. If you like that one, try Day Tripper next. So much fun to play, and a cool lead phrase in the middle.

I've been fooling around with Beatles stuff too, but then managed to get Buddy Holly's "Words of Love" stuck in my head so that sort of took over. Some old Neal Young things and Pink Floyd, and every now and then I'll plug into the Marshall and take a shot at the "Star Spangled Banner."

For a little more fun try "And Your Bird Can Sing".

The lead work on this song is some of Harrisons best.

It sometimes makes me feel like I need a Gretch Country Gent. with a Vox AC-30, and the other 3 lads.

George actually used an SG for the lead on that song -- with Paul McCartney on an Epiphone Casino.

I just learned "Something" by the Beatles a couple weeks ago, still polishing it up. I love George Harrison's Decending Pedal/Bass lines. At least I assume that was George Song.

"Key to the Highway" by Big Bill Broonzy via Eric Clapton. Trying to figure out some of the licks from watching him (EC) on YouTube. By the way, there are loads of classic blues film clips on there from the 1960s featuring Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, etc.

I was in Best Buy and someone was playing Rock Band. The song was Say It Aint So by Weezer. It got stuck in my head so I came home and figured it out and have been addicted to playing those few chords for the last week.

I've been doing some of The Beatles like Back in the U.S.S.R. and Drive My Car. Right now I'm learning Sunshine of Your Love and probably will have it down in a day or two. After I learn Sunshine of Your Love, that will be two songs me and my roommate know and can play in full. The other one is Melissa by The Allman Brothers. He plays on some Yamaha acoustic for Melissa and a Les Paul for Sunshine of Your Love. I wish I didn't have class to go to so I could play all day and all night.

lol The Beatles is my favorite band, and Revolver is my favorite album :D [i'm actually wearing a shirt of Revolver on it.]

i was reading a guitar book "Guitar Heaven" and it was all about famous guitars. [there were examples of what songs were played on the guitars]
