I got this yesterday.

It is a 2001 but in "like new" condition. Sounds awesome and plays great,love the color too: "Sky Blue" Fender color #51 on this Fender Color Chart(Link)

Thanks! The Silvertone is a 1964 1413L made by Kay.

Tom Hanks gave TK a 1413L to use for the the Beach Party Movie in "That Thing You Do"

the pickup is really hot.It's a fat single coil like a p-90

Below is a youtube video a 1415L,it is the same guitar but in 1965 they changed to a "paddle" headstock.

Beautiful! Yeah,that is why I bought it. I thought it was Sonic Blue. I wanted a Sonic Blue Strat like The Beatles had. But when I called Fender they told me it ws "Sky Blue".

I love your sky blue Strat - gorgeous colour.

I couldn't live there - all those dolls and doll pics would creep me out. Plus of course, you'd be there as well, so it could never work out.. :oops:
