Which do you like better?

Actually, they both look great. Me personally, I like the rosewood better for looks, especially with the black pickguard & gold hardware. But, its how a guitar should feel, play, and sound in your hands.

If there was the choice for Ebony, I would have gone with that, but Maple is the next runner up!

i am a rosewood guy but if you are only going for look i think the maple looks best, the rosewood makes the guitars just too dark

yeah maple is definitely the way to go, I agree and don't think the fingerboard would make that much of a difference. Great guitar nonetheless.

Maple, it adds color balance. Just look at how the goldtone hardware "pops"

I Prefer Maple Because It's One Piece. When The Time Comes To Refret The Chances Are Your Going To Get A Better Job. Overlays Look Nice But Effects Can Change The Sound To Almost Anything Today.

I have 2 epi les pauls and a schecter c-1 classic, all have rosewood, which I like on those guitars, on the stratocasters I have, Maple . My brother has a real nice american deluxe with a rosewood fretboard,... i'd rather have mine, no rhyme or reason to it,some like blondes, some brunettes ... to each his own, as long as there happy........

like you said, there wont be much tonal difference.
my preference is maple, I think it highlights the gold hardware. But the rosewood also looks good, like a continuation of the body.

If headstock was painted like the body is, then neck shoud be better in RW... Full Dark Strat.
