EDIT: Just realized that it went to the wrong topic area moving to the lounge.

One of my permanent band members dropped it on the concrete floor and made a dent in the windscreen. How do you fix it. I unscrewed the windscreen and there is a spongy lining inside. I could just push it back with a finger, however supposedly it has to be a better and a smarter way.

You can probably push it with a finger. You could leave it and never "hear" the difference. You could buy a foam windscreen put it over the metal grille and leave the dent. You could get a new grille from Shure.
