Hey last night i measured my pups and found my neck is 4.35, bridge is 5.67 and the bridge was 7.2 ...i have an american std strat... just wondering what other am std strat pickups are? It is kinda cool though to find out how ur pups relate to other pickups

Resistance readings on pickups don't mean anything. It's in no way a indication of the pickups strength or sound.

I got some fender vintage pickups that mesure about 5.1 in the neck and middle and 5.7 in the bridge. They sound cleaner and more defined than the Tex-Mex that are in the 6 range in neck and middle and 7 in the bridge.

These measurments can be helpfull to test cable resistance, or if there are issues with the pickups.
