how would you wire up a seymour duncan lil humbucker in the bridge of a american standard strat

With the Duncan, wire the red and white wires together and tape them off. Solder the black wire and the bare wire to ground and the green wire to the pickup selector switch. If you find that the Duncan is out of phase with the middle pickup, reverse the Duncan's green and black wires.

or you can "coil tap it" so you have the option of playing it as a single coil or a HB... u need a push pull pot for that though...

heres the wiring diagram from SD website. here is an important disclaimer about fender pus and duncan
"If two pickups sound thin and nasal when used together, chances are, they’re out of phase with each other. If you’re combining your
Seymour Duncan pickup(s) with Fender® pickup(s) in the same guitar, you’ll need to reverse the black and green wires on the Seymour
Duncan. In other words, solder the black wire to ground and the green wire to the selector switch."

thanks for the imput I am thinking of doing a push pull to split the bridge....i have a lilscreamin demon and it sounds good. I have it set up as a normal hb. But i need to switch the ground. Thanks for imput
