Well, I decided to refinish the neck and ended up getting some alcohol based amber stain/dye and I've got some Tru-Oil on the way too. I also bought some laser waterslide decal paper for a new logo. I'll post up my progress and pictures along the way.

Well, I can call this project pretty much done. I still plan to repaint the body when the weather gets warmer. I refinished the neck with Tru-Oil and put on a new Squier decal that I made, put it on and strung her up. I gave it a setup and plugged it in to my Pod...it's a keeper.

Very nice, and very well done. I was planning on doing a similar project but going for the reliced look. Hopefully I can do the guitar justice.
