Post subject: volume problem on 62 RI strat

When ever i am playing my 62 strat my guitar almost seems to be completely silent until i hit about 7. Is this normal or should i get this checked out

Have the pots been changed?

Sounds like you have a linear instead of an audio pot installed.

whats the difference and are the better pots to have installed?


to my knowledge the pots are original
