I recently bought set of secondhand but unused '57/'62 PUs from a well known shop in Sussex, UK. I noticed that pictures of other types of replacement PUs from Fender on here show the backs to have stickers on them displaying the Custom Shop logo. Mine do not seem to have these.

Anyone know if they're supposed to be on these PUs? Have I inadvertantly got fakes?

57/62 are not Custom Shop made, as opposed of the fat50, 54, 69 and texas specials. mate. Problably you´ve got yours legit. Post some pictures so we can tell you for sure.

I just put those very pickups in my Highway one and I have to say they are the finest pickups I have heard -Custom shop or not. (to my ear.) alder body / maple neck)

Readings from mine are.
Bridge 6.35 (this one has a callaham pup plate affixed)
neck 5.80
middle 5.95

Oh and they are not custom shop.. so there is nothing on the bottom thats special
