I knew when I went to the Namm Show again I would find another guitar, and I did at the Fender booth. A limited edition of 500, "Brown Canyon Telecaster". The guitar is made from an old railroad bridge that was torn down in California. This guitar is from a series of 12 Telecaster that will be released each month. Fender really out did themselves this time. I was impressed by all the new products they were showing. Check out the entire series, because there is a Telecaster for everyone. It is very hard to pick and choose because each Telecaster is so unique. If I could, I would at least get 4 from the series, but I have to settle on one, so I picked the Brown Canyon because of how old the wood is and the history behind it.

Thanks for posting, but this sub-forum is for the Stratocaster discussion.

There's a Telecaster page on the Fender Lounge in which you can discuss everything about Fender Telecasters and all their variations.

Don't worry about the above post, we like Telecasters too.
And you can always re-post in the Tele section.

We gotta see pic's. From what I can gather, you have quite the collection.

Here you go. I also started a thread about this guitar on the Telecaster discussion page.

Yeah, I like both this one and the one recycled from 100 yr pine from a barn in Indiana I think it was...and if I remember its current white finish will be replaced by a hand oil-rubbed finish. I'm sure that will look stunning!

I'm not too sure about the bamboo neck and bodies they made for other models. Time will tell. But the prices are a bit out of my league anyway.

Of course if they handed them to me, I wouldn't say no either!

I totally forgot that I was on the Strat forum, because I am usually buying Custom Shop Strats and I automatically click onto it, but it at least it is still a Fender. :D
