I have a contemporary E series MIJ that I bought new from Sam Ash in the 1980's.
The other day I decided to take the pick guard off to clean the inside with an air can cleaner. However, I was very surprised to see the pickup routings....This guitar has 2 single coil and 1 humbucking pc. Yet, the routing was for 3 humbucking pickups.
Do I have a rare MIJ Strat?

Location: In a house....unless I'm at work....then I'm in a shop.
I believe the correct answer would be....No.
