Hi folks,

I'm from Indonesia. I saw USA Stratocaster Special Series (Sunburst color) in store here in Jakarta.
I noted number of 10045824. These numbers were written at the back of headstock. I didn't find any number on the guitar (I didn't disclose the neck from the body). The salesman said it was 2010 production.
I check to the support page and find clueless to decode that number.

Is that number a S/N and would you be keen to translate that number?

I want to make sure that Fender I would buy is Genuine.

Yes that number is a serial number and your guitar is genuine. Early 2010 USA models had a serial that began with a "10" later on they changed the format to "US10", but your guitar is legit no doubt.
