You forgot The Dave Murray Strat, I'm sure that has a V neck.

You should play all of them and decide what you like best. My next Strat that I want? Possibly the Jim Root Strat to go with my Jim Root Telecaster.

I hate to throw anything guitar into the mix but I just bought the Kenny Wayne Shepherd strat last week and it is AWESOME to say the least. I am throwing this guitar into the mix because I think that if you are willing to spend money on the American Standard you might want to try this guitar out and possibly save a few dollars. Personally I was very surprised at the quality of this strat for the price. It plays like a dream that you can get with it sound fantastic and it feels really good which is definitely important. I think that anyone who owns one will tell you that it is a great buy especially for the price. I think that it is was made in America it would be priced much higher so I am glad they decided to make it in Mexico. My first strat was an American Standard which I don't play anymore because maybe 5 months after I bought it I bought the John Mayer signature and never looked back now that I have the KWS model it's hard to choose between the two.
