Dumb question perhaps, but one I need to ask. I have a MIM Deluxe Roadhouse guitar I want to put an American Strat neck in. The existing neck needs some fretwork and the cost of a fretjob, I might as well buy a new neck.

So here's my question, does an American made strat neck fit in a 2007 MIM body?

Yes the neck will fit the pocket. I have a Deluxe players Ash Sunburst body and a 2008 MIA neck and it fits perfectly. the problem you may have is that the MIM guitars have a narrower string spacing and you may need to switch bridges to American type bridge.

The bridge spacing has nothing to do with the neck.

And some MIM Strats use the vintage-spec bridges. I don't know about the RH edition but the Classic '50s, Classic '60s, Classic '70s, the Robert Cray and the Jimmy Vaughn models all have 2-7/32" string spacing.

Yes with no problems.

That's good news. I found a MIA neck for less than $400. Better then buying a whole guitar, especially when I love Roadhouse setup.
