Mustang Sally - actually an old Soul / R'n'B classic. Probably one of the most famous renderings of this song is this one by Wilson Pickett. Timeless!

Cheers

I wonder if the girl who drives that Mustang in the video is named Sally. >_> Just a thought, albeit a dumb one :P

Interesting thought. If we believe Wikipedia, the birth of the song had something to do with Soul great Aretha Franklin:

[quote="Wikipedia"]"Mustang Sally" is an R&B/straight-forward blues song written and first recorded by Sir Mack Rice in 1965.[1] It gained greater popularity when it was covered by Wilson Pickett on a single the following year. Pickett's version was also included on his 1967 album The Wicked Pickett.[2]

According to music historian Tom Shannon, the song started as a joke when Della Reese wanted a new Ford Mustang. Rice called the early version "Mustang Mama," but changed the title after Aretha Franklin suggested "Mustang Sally."

Ah, Aretha! :)
