Adrian what do you mean you can't set up wit the trem block butted against the wood ?

I have the 2 pin tremolo and I set up like you want to do, The vintage tremolo and the 2 point can have the same set up. Or your body routing are not good ? What's the problem ? Or I am translating not right what you said.

Have you some picture of you you have and what you whabt ?
