For reasons too painful to share, I need a new neck for my strat. I will be looking to stratophere (an e-bay store which carries Fender parts) to acquire a new neck. Should I wait for my exact replacement neck to appear or will most Fender strat necks fit? For example, what if I purchase a '62 reissue neck or a SRV neck etc. Or, will any Fender ModC fit?

Any "normal" Fender strat neck should work without issue... so yes, a 62RI or SRV neck should be fine. While the Stratosphere has an excellent reputation, you pay a premium for it. You might do well to look around for a cheaper option (IMO).
