The last set of saddles I bought from Crazy Parts took sixteen days to cross the pond from Deutschland to Arizona.

Patience.

While I would have had the paint look like a closet classic (That is, perfect paint no chips), I like the rest of what your doing, a very fine job overall.

I also like your use of the hardtail, should be a really good playing guitar.

Keep the pictures coming please.

I'm doing to do my best to stop drooling on it and get the pickguard wired up (minus the cap) this afternoon. Cheers.

Well, the bridge assembly and installation has been completed and the capacitor came yesterday so I was able to wire it up...things are looking good. Have a look!

I had to do a little un-relicing of the saddles, they finally arrived and were VERY rusty...I was pretty bummed out when I saw them actually. A little soak in some WD-40 and a scrub with baking soda and I was able to get them looking pretty good...I actually had them soaking in Dr. Pepper overnight as well but not sure if that helped or not.

Thanks, I agree that things are looking pretty good but what I'm really interested in is finding out how she sounds!

I don't feel up to the task of nut installation (I just don't have the tools I need) so I'm going to take it in this week hopefully to have that done... then we'll be able to do a test drive.

I also need to re-examine my wiring as it's not working right... the middle position has no tone control and the bridge does. :( Anyhow, I'm not sure what happened exactly but I should be able to figure it out.

Just caught my mistake in the photo... the 2nd tone control is wired to the wrong post on the 5-way selector....oops. Hmm... wonder if I might try it like this for a while and see if I like it? I suppose I could bridge the two and have the second tone knob control both the middle and bridge pickups  Anyhow, relieved it's nothing too major!

Hate to be a stickler for details plus I've never seen a pic of a 65 hardtail so I could be wrong, but I do know that the earlier hardtails don't have the synchronized tremolo part of the decal.
But the guitar looks great!!

If it makes you feel better JamGuy, I have the same problem with one of mine.
