but one thing for sure, the scns have really grown on me. i have them on my am delx V nk, and the dimarzio tone zn meshes well with scn's.the hr57's scn's sound a little different than the ones in my dlx.i believe its due to the wiring or trem block. what do you think? or do you hear a difference at all?

I haven't given to listening that carefully but I will. This is a really apples and oranges comparison in my case because the blocks are certainly different, there's likely less wood in the Deluxe VG due to the routing for the 4-AA battery box and for the Roland Electronics, and the neck in the Deluxe is a tad fuller.

Are you and Mike close to each other? I know you've already met with some local forum members in your neighborhood!!

In the Northeast only.....about a four hour trip.....by road and ferry. As far as your coming to Florida, I and the others would certainly enjoy your company. I know Mike has people on the West coast and in consideration of a trip he made down there we once looked at the possibility, but the dates did not interface.

I have relatives in Naples, Minneola and other areas of Florida and I wish I were there now instead of seeing this out the window : :(

Doc lives on a 'long' island which I drove around to and from a trip to the Jersey shore last summer. Cheap gas in Jersey - - but they won't letcha pump it? :o

Just imagine being a New York City school teacher and the owner of that red automobile, having to get to work because in their infinite wisdom, the schools were not closed. Though this pic is not NY metro, some of the outlying areas did see this kind of snow today. Notwithstanding the fact that Central Park measured a fall of 8 inches, it was twice that an more out east. Where Mike is...hammered, and there are those of you around the country who know this as a matter of rule. My community's crews cleared my driveway and walk around 3:30 pm today having having diligently plowing us in endeavoring to keep our roads clear. I needed the break, and it's off to Florida for five days on Friday, looking at a snow forecast for the day of the return trip. Such is life. Last winter I experienced an aborted takeoff from a slushy runway at JFK. Never a dull moment. :!: :?
