Hi everyone, I was seeking some advice to the general value of a 1976 Fender Strat Hard Tail that is sunburst, all original never modified. He said that the clear coat is a little work on the neck and on the body from his arm rubbing on it. What do you guys think something like this is worth (arpox?) There isn't any significant cosmetic damage.

Value of a vintage axe comes down to several factors. You did not mention, do you have the original case and what condition is the case in, does it have the hang tags, owners manual and all the case candy that would have come with the guitar? All of these little things all add up to more money in the vintage market. If all you have is the guitar and case, and it is in great shape, $1500 would be in the ball park for reasonable value. Always check eBay to get an idea on what certain things are really selling for, cause something is only worth what someone is willing to pay.
