you would probably have to talk with fender on that one bro. they will most likely have you send in your old neck as proof if they will help you at all with this. im just guessing here ok.

Unless it's a warranty claim, i.e your the sole owner of the guitar from new and the neck has broke beyond reasonable repair through no fault of your own. Forget it.

Otherwise contact customer services and make a warranty claim. Fender will not sell you a neck on it's own.

I was about to say, "there's no need to guess", and then link to what Fender say about how to get replacement necks in the FAQs section of this website. Except the FAQs seem to have gone missing in the recent website upgrade. How frustrating!

So instead I suppose you must contact Consumer Relations (click "support", above) and ask them to explain their policy on replacement necks. After they've had to do that a few times perhaps the FAQs page will reappear!

Cheers - C

I replaced one with a licensed by Fender USACG neck.

Fender will not send another neck with the same serial number, so that you can forget. Instead of buying a "licensed" by Fender neck, just go on eBay and buy a Fender neck of the same style as your original. If you place any non-fender part on your fender guitar, you have just instantly knocked off a considerable amount of value if you decide to sell it later. At least with a neck of the exact same style, and probably the same year as your original, your guitar will retain it's value, and nobody would have to know because with a bolt on, non-vintage guitar, it doesn't really matter as long as all the parts are fender, and of the correct style for your model.

+1

They always have the best selection (though not generally the best prices).

i've heard that if your neck breaks, or if it is unuseable, and you send it in, they will give you a new one, but of course, it isn't free. I heard this a LONG time ago, so I don't even know if it is the case anymore.

I used to use Warmoth, Allparts and others for projects, but since I've been dealing with USACG, I've been very satisfied...
