How high is your action?
As low as I can get, buzzing like a bee 1/64 8%  8%  [ 2 ]
Fairly low, but playable 2/64 19%  19%  [ 5 ]
Medium 3/64 19%  19%  [ 5 ]
Getting in the high grounds 4/64 23%  23%  [ 6 ]
High all the time 5/64 19%  19%  [ 5 ]
No pain, no gain 6/64 4%  4%  [ 1 ]
SRV who? Try this for size 7/64 0%  0%  [ 0 ]

I use the same method that Chet does-that's lower the action 'til it buzzes and raise 'til it just barely disappears-which ends up being about 1/2 turn on each of the saddle screws just like Chet suggested.

I like medium to high action. I use light strings, so the higher action doesn't bother me, and it makes strings bending much nicer. I used to like to set the action as low as possible without buzz, but that was many moons ago when I all I was really doing was playing chords and strumming.

What season? During the dry winter months the Strat sounds great. During the humid summer weather, the first 5 frets sound like a damn sitar... but I'm on the motorcycles more than the guitar at that time. 8)

High action on my Blackmore Strat. I have better and more tone using high action. I use .010-.046 strings. Works great for me because of the scalloped fretboard, on my Gibson V I use a little lower action.
